I was born and raised in New York City, where my dad still works.

My parents are originally from Tamil Nadu.

I (and my friends) occassionally blog about economic and financial topics.

I play the piano (pretty well) and bass guitar (poorly) and sing. I am learning the drums.

I also enjoy playing basketball, squash, cricket, and chess.
